Frontline Events is an events company in Shenzhen launched in mid 2010. I was tasked with creating the companies logo as well as promotional fliers, posters, web banners and tickets for up-coming events.

Stuff TV

Stuff TV was created for AsiaStuffMedia as an advertising service for nightlife venues and events in and around the cities of Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.

Intel Digital Drag Race

“Waterfall Swimmer” was created for the Intel Digital Drag Race competition held at the end of 2008. My previous work had been spotted on YouTube and I was sent an invite to enter this contest. The Brief: Create an advertisement video that is 17 seconds long to the theme of either “Power” or “Speed”. Three files were provided which had to be included in the final piece (AI shape, scratch effect movie, background music). The video was conceived, filmed and produced in less than 5 days. It was then put to the public vote against other videos which had been entered and…it won!! My prize… some valued exposure on the Intel website with an interview about the work that I do. Pyjama Party @ Cash Club

A motion graphic animation was made for CASH Club in Shenzhen to advertise an upcoming Pyjama Party. A poster was also designed to accompany this – making use of Illustrator, After Effects and Photoshop.

Flash Forward Film Festival

A film festival for those with disabilities, run by OFVM Oxford. An animated ident was created for the awards ceremony screening.

‘The Corridor’

‘The Corridor – a video created with Adobe After Effects to explore it effects and compositing capabilities’ was created as part of my final year project at Oxford Brookes University.

All visual content is original with PS comps made from personal photographs & images from CGTextures.com. Narrative poem also original. Music by LFO – Moistly.

Whole build took around 3.5 months and was a steep learning curve having never used AE before.

The Corridor is long, We have travelled far already, developmental change apparent; our progress slow but steady.

These paths we wind are vast, With so many doors to choose, Many we have taken, Others lye unused

Some doors lie familiar, Offering all the comforts of home, Whilst others are more foreboding, Where we do not dare roam

You may be very fortunate, Full of richness and of love, Or you may hit rock bottom, And the going will get tough

We are never alone on this journey we take, Many of our paths will cross, Some stick with us along the way, Whereas others will be lost

Wherever we go it is fair to say, Just go with the flow and ride the wave, Be adventurous and explore these paths, Take every opportunity, Good luck…and be brave
