‘The Corridor – a video created with Adobe After Effects to explore it effects and compositing capabilities’ was created as part of my final year project at Oxford Brookes University.

All visual content is original with PS comps made from personal photographs & images from CGTextures.com. Narrative poem also original. Music by LFO – Moistly.

Whole build took around 3.5 months and was a steep learning curve having never used AE before.

The Corridor is long, We have travelled far already, developmental change apparent; our progress slow but steady.

These paths we wind are vast, With so many doors to choose, Many we have taken, Others lye unused

Some doors lie familiar, Offering all the comforts of home, Whilst others are more foreboding, Where we do not dare roam

You may be very fortunate, Full of richness and of love, Or you may hit rock bottom, And the going will get tough

We are never alone on this journey we take, Many of our paths will cross, Some stick with us along the way, Whereas others will be lost

Wherever we go it is fair to say, Just go with the flow and ride the wave, Be adventurous and explore these paths, Take every opportunity, Good luck…and be brave
